The Man in the Gray Coat

here is a character analysis of one of the more OMINOUS characters from "Reality Writer" whose name as it stands is simply "The Man in the Gray Coat."
I think it might be a good idea to keep this as his name so readers are kept from connecting with him in any way other than what he does and how. That is to say, there might be preconceptions of what a Donald, Joey, William, etc. etc. might be like- the reader might have past and biasing experience with different names (and the more common the name the more likely this is true SO IF I GIVE HIM A NAME AT ALL IT WILL BE EITHER A VERY OBSCURE ONE (probably with non-biasing effect) OR one that is of my own devising but for now I don't have any major problems with his name being a mixture of his gender and an inanimate object.
He is referenced in chapter 1 (and really is the catalyst of much of its PLOT PROGRESSION), although outside of "flashbacks" isn't brought into the story until later. His encounters (all of which take place under the mask of darkness)with some of KADE'S co-workers are to convince them (through bribery and threats if necessary)
He is as nice as his (victims) are willing to comply with his requests (which turn out to be more like unwavering demands.) He is almost always ends up happy but sometimes has to get quite angry first.
He is obviously not a "lone ranger." He is employed by someone/something far more powerful than himself. If he wasn't it would be hard to imagine someone being so cold hearted.

Alright gonna watch the first episode of Sopranos.... wish it was the third season of Lost, but that's still in the mail
